Creeping Phlox: Like its name, this low growing perennial is great for a space where you need a ground cover. Creeping phlox is perfect to grow in hot dry spaces. Come springtime you will see a stunning show of blue, pink, purple, or white.
Candy Tuft: Iberis Sempervirens, also known as candy tuft, is a cheery little perennial. Candy tufts tend to form mounds that will spread over time. In the springtime you will see bright white blooms that attract butterflies and as a bonus deer are not inclined to snack on it!
Dianthus: If the beautiful blue foliage doesn’t stop you from noticing this plant, maybe the neon pink flowers will. Dianthus stands out best if planted along the front border of your garden bed. Dead head dianthus to promote a longer bloom time.
Lavender: During the cold winter months, the leaves of the lavender will change from deep green to a silvery sage green. Don’t be alarmed when this happens, the plant is just resting. Lavender is usually grown for its fragrant purple flowers and aromatic leaves.
